Peppers – Not just the aphrodisiac of the spice world.  By peppers we mean chilli peppers, Cayenne Pepper and Paprika. Here we give you our top 10 of many health benefits of peppers

Our delicious pepper loaded recipe:

Easy Chicken Fajitas

Serves 2

Extra virgin olive oil
1 lime
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tea spoons smoked paprika
sea salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 red onion
2 ripe vine or plum tomatoes
1/2 avocado
handful  chopped fresh coriander
1/2 red pepper
1 fresh chilli finely chopped
4 soft flour tortillas
4 tbsp sour cream

  • mix a tablespoon of olive oil with a squeeze of lime,  the cayenne pepper, paprika, salt and black pepper
  • cut the chicken into strips
  • marinate the chicken in your olive oil mixtutre and leave for 2 hours in the fridge
  • dice the tomatoes, onion, red pepper, avocado and mix together in a bowl with the chilli, salt, pepper, a squeeze of lime and 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil
  • pan fry the chicken in a little olive oil and serve on some warm tortillas with the tomato salsa and a dollop of sour cream
